SUMMARYSTATEMENT:
Supplemental #6 requests funding from the General Fund.:
(1) To appropriate $75,000 to Health & Human Services from State On -site
Sewage System (OSS) Loan Program for no- interest loans to residents to
assist with repairs.
(2) To appropriate $37,971 to Planning & Development Services for the burn
permit program;
From RID Guaranty Fund:
(3) To appropriate $37,000 to RID Guaranty Operating Transfer Out to cover
past dues assessments not yet collected from the Cordata area
From Conservation Futures Fund.
(4) To appropriate $100,000 to purchase a twenty (20) acre parcel on Lookout
Mountain from Nielsen Brothers, Inc.
Additional, Exhibit B to the 2001 Budget Ordinance, entitled "Authorized
Positions, "should be amended to include a.6 FTE increase to Planning &
Development Services for a Fire Inspector I (burn permit program).

ORDINANCE NO. 2001-035
AMENDMENT NO. 6 OF THE 2001 BUDGET
Amended
WHEREAS, the 2001 budget was adopted November 14, 2000; and,
r;.
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2001 budget;
and,
WHEREAS, the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2001
Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2000 -053 is hereby amended by adding the following
additional amounts to the budgets included therein:
