SUMMARYSTATEMENT:
Supplemental #4 requests funding from the General Fund.,
(1) To appropriate $21,181.89 to Parks jor photovoltaic project at the Parks
Office and Bellingham Senior Center,
(2) To appropriate $33,950 to Health from grant funding jar co- occurring
disorders program; and
(3) To appropriate $17,000 to Planning and Development Services from grant
funding for services to the Birch Bay Community Plan.

equipment and provide support services from third party vendor.

ORDINANCE NO. 2001 -022
AMENDMENT NO. 4 OF THE 2001 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 2001 budget was adopted November 14, 2000; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2001 budget;
and,
WHEREAS, the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2001
Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2000 -053 is hereby amended by adding the following
additional amounts to the budgets included therein:
Additionally, Exhibit B to the 2001 Budget Ordinance, entitled "Authorized Positions' should
be corrected to include a .5 FTE increase to Program Specialist position for substance abuse in
Health and Human Services.
