HomeMy WebLinkAboutord1979-0821 2 3 4 5 6 7 6 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 is 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 29 30 31 32 DATED December 20, 1979 INTRODUCED BY Hansey PROPOSED BY Executive ORDINANCE NO. 79 -$2 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET FOR NON - DEPARTMENTAL FUND IN 1979 WHEREAS, the payment of 1979 Unemployment Compensation and admin- istration expenses for the Washington State Department of Employ- ment Security were budgeted into the Federal Shared Revenue Fund, and WHEREAS, a supplemental budget to the Federal Shared Revenue Fund from the Current Expense is not allowable, and I WHEREAS, expenditures for Unemployment Compensation and administra- tion will exceed the anticipated level for 1979, and WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in the.Current Expense Cash Balance to allow for a supplemental budget for the balance of 1979, to the Non - Departmental Fund, as requested by the County Auditor, and WHEREAS, the County finds as a fact and declares that an emergency exists and that it is necessary that the Non - Departmental Supple- mental Budget be made effective before the end of the current year. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the Non - Departmental Budget is herebi given the following Supplemental Budget: REVENUE: 301 Current Expense Cash Balance $15,500.00 EXPENDITURE: 0000 -0100 Non - Departmental Budget 514- 10 -13 -00 Unemployment Compensation $15,500.00 PASSED this 20th day of December 1979. Section 32. Appeals. The County Council Public Safety Committe shall have jurisdictio to appeals from the following orders of the Sheriff: (a) Denial of a license or registration under the provisions of this ordinance. (b) Suspensions or revocations of licenses.or registrations li.ssued under the provision of this ordinance. The aggrieved party shall have the right to appeal the afore- mentioned orders of the Sheriff by giving a written notice thereof within seven days after the entry of the order appealed from. Section 33. Penalties for Violation. Any person violating or failing to comply with the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. Section 34. Severability. If any portion of this ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional or void, such decision shall not affect the validi of the remaining portions of this ordinance.
