ORDINANCE N0. 79 -47
AN ORDINANCE RESTRICTING THE SPEED LIMIT IN THE PLATS
OF KEL BAY, LOCATED IN SECTION 259 TOWNSHIP 38 NORTH,
RANGE 1 EAST, W.M., AND MALLARD'S LANDING, IACATED IN
SECTION 279 TOWNSHIP 40 NORTH, RANGE 2 EAST, W.M.
WHEREAS9 the Whatcom County Council is authorized under
RCW 46.61.415 to establish speed limits on certain County
roads,.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that speed limits be set
as follows:
25 MILES PER HOUR: on all roads in the Plat of KEL BAY,
located in Section 259 Township 38
Northq Range 1 Eastp W.M.
25 MILES PER HOUR: on all roads in the Plat MALLARD'S
LANDING, located in Section: 27,
Township 40 North, Range 2 East, W.M.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer be and is
hereby directed to post appropriate signs and that the
Whatcom County Sheriff and the Washington State Patrol be
notified by a copy of this resolution.
Whatcom County Code, Section 6.12. 030 is amended by the addition
of the provisions of this ordinance.
