ORDINANCE NO. 79 -45
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A SUPPLEMENTAL
BUDGET FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT'S
1979 BUDGET AS RELATED TO A COASTAL ZONE
MANAGEMENT GRANT
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Department of Public Works has received
a Grant from the Coastal Zone Management Act, and
WHEREAS, this funding is to be used in establishing a Shorelines
Technician position within the Public Works Department, and
WHEREAS, a supplement to the existing Public Works Budget is neces-
sary to accomplish such funding, and has been requested by the
Director of Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the following Supplemental Budget
is hereby adopted for the Public Works 1979 Annual Budget.
REVENUE: 333- 30 -00 -01 Coastal Zone Management Grant $5,676.00
EXPENDITURES: 0000 -0471 Buildings & Codes, Public Works
524 -20 -11 Salaries & Wages $4,316.00
524- 20 -13 -01 Retirement 320.00
524- 20 -13 -02 Social Security 265.00
524- 20 -13 -03 Health Insurance 520.00
524- 20 -13 -04 Ind. Ins. & Medical Aid 255.00
$5,676.00
