ORDINANCE NO. 79 -33
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT
OF A REVOLVING FUND TO BE USED AS WORKING
CAPITAL WITHIN THE CENTRAL STORES REVOLVING
FUND - STATE CONTROLLED AREA NETWORK (SCAN)
WHEREAS, Olympia, Washington, has notified Whatcom County that a
warrant for SCAN invoices are due back in Olympia within fifteen
days of receipt, and
WHEREAS, there is a considerable time lag in the processing of
SCAN telephone billings, and
WHEREAS, the Auditor has requested that a Revolving Fund be estab-
lished to cover payment of SCAN invoices during the processing time
in order to comply. with Olympia, and
WHEREAS, there exists in the Current Expense Cash Balance sufficient
money to allow for such a transfer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT.ORDAINED, the amount of $2,000.00 is to be
transfered and a Revolving Fund - SCAN is hereby established as
follows:
REVENUE: 301 Current Expense Cash Balance $2,000.00
EXPENDITURE: 0802 -00004 Central Stores Revolving $2,000.00
