ORDINA'.,ICE NO. 79-7
AN ORDITIANCE regarding rules of procedure
governing the time, place and conduct of
County Council meeting, and the intro-
duction, publication, consideration and
adoption of ordinances;
SECTION 1: The Whatcom County Council shall meet at least
semi- monthly on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. at the Whatcom County
Courthouse, unless decided otherwise by the Council;
SECTION 2: Council business shall be conducted pursuant to
"Sturgis Standard Code of Parlimentary Procedure," second edition,
except when in conflict with the standing rules of the Council;
SECTION 3: The introduction, publication, consideration and
adoption of ord-inances shall be governed by the Home Rule Charter
for Whatcom County, ordinances and resolutions of the County
Council or, when not addressed by the above, by general.law;
PASSED this 31st day of May,-1979.
