HomeMy WebLinkAboutord1979-0061 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 DATE May 10, 1979 ORDINANCE NO. 79-6 INTRODUCED BY PROPOSED BY AN ORDINANCE regarding a supplemental budget request for the Whatcom County Public Works. d SECTION 1: WHEREAS, revenues to the Road Fund budget increased . in 1978 and appropriation expenditures decreased leaving a net increase of $371,665.34 and SECTION 2: WHEREAS, Federal Shared Revenue increased due to re- classification of Federal Aid - Bridges from "reimbursable" revenue and unanticipated Antirecessional Fiscal Assistance I sources equalled $351,002.11 and SECTION 3: WHEREAS, a State Grant provided unanticipated funds for costs incidental to the position of Traffic Technician equalled $13,500.00 and SECTION 4: WHEREAS, State Shared Revenue provided an increase in anticipated funds from Motor Vehicle Fuel Taxes (ferry subsidy) and a decrease.in budgeted Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Revenue (roads) in light of gasoline supply reduction equalled a total reduction of $15,200.00 and SECTION 5: WHEREAS, Intergovernmental payments decreased due to updated estimates of reimbursable projects equalled $100,000.00 and SECTION 6: WHEREAS, there is an increase in anticipated revenue from plat fees equalling $31,150.00 and SECTION 7: WHEREAS, unanticipated miscellaneous revenue from the sale of junk or salvage (logs) equalled $8;000.00 and anti- cipated revenue from the proceeds of-G.O. bond issue: R.I.D.
