AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET
FOR THE COUNTY GRANTS MANAGEMENT 1980 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Whatcom County is the recipient of a Community Develop-
ment Program in Sumas known as SHARP, and
WHEREAS, the Bellingham /Whatcom County Housing Authority administer
the SHARP Program and failed to expend a drawdown within the three
day time period of being deposited in Whatcom County, and therefore
had to send the money back to HUD, and did so directly rather than
going thru the proper departments to allow for correctreimbur_se-
ment to the HUD Program, and

11 WHEREAS, These funds have been returned to Whatcom County thru a
Letter of credit and it is necessary to reassign these funds for
12 expenditure, and
13 4HEREAS, it is the desire and request of the County Gr.-ants Coordin-
ator to receive a Supplemental Budget to provide for the revenue
14 and expenditure of this grant money,
15 OW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the following Supplemental Budget
for the Grants Management 1980 Budget is approved as follows:
