ORDINANCE NO. 80 -15
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING W.C.C. 7.40.070 TO PROVIDE
FOR A WAIVER OF FEES CONCERNING ROAD VACATIONS
UPON A FINDING THAT THE VACATION WILL BE OF SPECIFIC
BENEFIT TO WHATCOM COUNTY.
THE COUNTY COUNCIL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1:
11 follows:
W.C.C. 7.40.070 is hereby amended to read as
Recompense in the amount of the fair market value and all
11certified costs and expenses incurred in the proceedings shall
be tendered at the time of hearing on the petition for vacation;
provided, however, that the County Council may waive-payment of
the fair market value, or any portion: thereof, if it finds that
the granting of such vacation will be-of some specific benefit to
Whatcom County.
