7 PRFAMBLE: The County legislative authority and
the Superior. Court .Judges of Whatcom County desir_f-, to
8 transfer the administration of the Juvenile Court,
probation counselor, intake, and detention services to
9 the County Executive. The Council has received from
the Super_ for Court Judges their document transferr:i.n(l

subject to the Council's approval. R.C.W. 13.04.035

12 NOF', THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OP WHATCOM
13 COUNTY:
14 Section 1. The transfer by the Superior Court Judges
15 of 11hatcom County o'7 the administration of Juvevile Court, proba-
16 tion counselor, intake and detention services to the County Exec-
17 utive is accepted and approved, and the administration of said
18 services is vested with the County Executive.

TRp►i.SFER QV JUVENILE COURT ADMINISTRATION
Pursuant to R.C.W. 13.04.035 and A.C.W. 13.20.060,
the ad 444stration of Juvenile Court, intake, probation coun-
lor :,anti detention services is transferred to the Whatcom
County M;cecut'ive. This transfer is subject to the approval
of the Whatcom County Council. The Director of Juvenile
Probation Services shall be appointed in the same manner
as that provided by charter for the Count
