CODE 1.14.040: FIXING A REASONABLE .RATE
OF REIMBURSE,14ENT FOR THE USE OF PER--
SONAL TRANSPORTATION FOR APPROVED AND
OFFICIAL PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Revised Code'of Washington, Section 36-17.030 having
beea repealed by Chapter 24, Laws of 1974, First Extra Session of
the Legislature of the-State of Washington, and
WHEAEAS, pursuant to the provisions of Revised Code of Washington
Section 42-.24.090, this Council ,.finds that 19 cents per mile is. a
reasonable and proper rate for reimbursement of authorized use of
personal transportation in the performance of official duties or
other pre-approved travel far public purposes.
NOW, THEMFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED that the rate at which officers
ane- em?loyees of Whatcom County are entitled to be reimbursed for
pr� ,-iutliorized use of persona.1. automobiles or other transportation
eqi) ipment in connection with or in the course of their officially
ass :caned duties or other approved travel is fixed at 19 cents per
