ORDINANCE NO. 82 -107
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SOLID
WASTE MANAGEMENT REVOLVING FUND
WHEREAS, attendants at County solid waste disposal sites
are frequently required to make change when collecting disposal
fees; and,
WHEREAS, the establishment of a revolving fund would im-
prove control over cash receipts collected at such facilities; And,
WHEREAS, sufficient monies do exist in the Solid Waste
Management Fund to allow for the creation of A revolving fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County
Council that the Solid Waste Management Revolving Fund is hereby
established and the County Treasurer is authorized to issue a cheek
in the amount of THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300.00) to said fund from
the Solid Waste Management Fund.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the custodians of this fUhd
shall be the Director of Public Works and /or the Public tidor)PS Fisc&l
Manager.
