ORDINANCE NO. 82 -91
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A REASONABLE FEE
FOR COPIES OF THE BUDGET AND PORTIONS THEREOF
WHEREAS, Section 6.50 of the Whatcom County Home Rule Charter
provides that the budget, budge message, and supporting tables
shall be furnished any interested person for a reasonable fee as
.established by ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Budget consists of both a pre-
liminary version proposed by the County Executive, and a final
version adopted by the County Council., each containing numerous
funds, budgets, supporting tables and documents, and
WHEREAS, the reasonable cost of providing copies to interested
persons has been researched as it pertains to materials only;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the sale price for a complete
1983 Whatcom County Final Adopted Budget to any,member of the
public shall be set at $15.00 per copy, without binders and
indexing dividers, or $25.00 per copy, with binders and indexing

dividers;
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED the sale price for any portion of the
1983 Whatcom County Executive Proposed Budget to any member of
the public shall be set at ten cents ($.10) per page, or portion
of a page, plus binders and indexing dividers at cost if desired;
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED the prices established by this
ordinance shall remain in effect for forthcoming budgets until
such time as costs increase and a revision is deemed necessary.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that Ordinance No. 82 -86 is hereby
repealed.
