3 ORDINANCE NO. 82 -74
4 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET
FOR THE REFERENDUM 37 CONSTRUCTION.FUND 1982
5 BUDGET.
6 WHEREAS, the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services
7 has awarded additional grant funds to Whatcom County under the Referendum 37
8 program; and
9 WHEREAS, the grant award, identified as WATCI Project No. 332,
10 Contract No. 0206 -AGG- 34862, is for the purchase of shrink - packaging equipment;
11 and
12 WHEREAS, purchase of the.equipment will enable the training center
13 to contract for services to businesses and industry, thereby providing employ -
14 ment for developmentally disabled adults and also increasing the agency's
15 self - sufficiency.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Referendum 37 Construction
17 Fund 1982 budget be amended as follows:
