ORDINANCE NO. 82 -67
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council is authorized under
R.C.W. 46.44.080 to reduce weight limits on bridges; and
WHEREAS, structural inadequacies necessitate the imposition
of weight restrictions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the weight limits be
set as follows:
SECTION 1: All vehicles using the West Hemmi.Road Bridge,
No. 16, over Ten Mile Creek, are restricted to the following weight
limitations by vehicle type:

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer be and is
hereby directed to post appropriate signs and that the Whatcom
County Sheriff and the Washington State Patrol be notified by a
copy of this ordinance.
