ORDINANCE NO. 03-10-1
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A REVISED BUDGET
TO THE 1983 CURRENT EXPENSE FUND
SHERIFF BUDGET THEREIN
WHEREAS, certain funds have been deposited to the Current
Expense Fund following a drug raid cash seizure, which pursuant
to the Revised Code Of Washington ('R.C.W. 69.50.505 (7) )
provides that fifty per cent of the money, after expenses,
shall be deposited to the general fund of the county, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the County Executive that this
stated sum shall be used by the Sheriff department for the
purchase of surveillance, communication, and evidence - related
equipment and supplies;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the following Revised Budget is
hereby approved for the 1983 Current Expense Fund, Sheriff
Budget therein:
0000 -0020 CURRENT EXPENSE FUND, SHERIFF BUDGET
REVENUE:
342- 10 -00 -11 Cash Seizure in Illegal $49,227.38
Operation /Sheriff
EXPENDITURE:
521 -21 -64 Machinery & Equipment $45,427.38
521 -21 -38 Repair & Maintenance 800.00
521 -21 -31 Professional Services 3,000.00
$49,227.38
