AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET
FOR THE CURRENT EXPENSE FUND PUBLIC WORKS
ADMINISTRATION 1983 BUDGET
WHEREAS, health insurance expenditures in the 1983 Current
Expense Fund Public Works Administration budget provide for premiums of
$170.00 per employee per month; and
WHEREAS, health insurance premium rate increases by the
Washington Teamsters Welfare Trust, Washington Teamsters Vision Care
Trust, N.W. Employee Benefits Trust and Whatcom Medical Bureau have
increased the actual contributions for each of the eight employees to an
average of $193.00 per month for a total increase of $2,208.00; and
WHEREAS, total budgeted revenues for Public Works
Administration are $256,493.00, and total budgeted expenditures are
$253,809.00, there exists a surplus of $2,684 of budgeted revenues over
budgeted expenditures in the Current Expense Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Public Works
Administration Current Expense Fund 1983 budget be supplemented as
follows:
