ORDINANCE NO. 83 -94
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A 1983 BUDGET FOR
THE WHATCOM COUNTY LIMITED TAX BOND FUND,
1982 (ROAD IAIPROVEPJENTS AND FAIRGROUNDS
BUILDING)
WHEREAS, Whatcom County Ordinance No. 82 -85 authorized the
acquisition, construction and installation of an exposition
building on the grounds of the Northwest Washington County Fair
and the repair and replacement of County roads and drainage facili-
ties providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the principal
amount of $1,300,000; and
WHEREAS, Section 6 of Ordinance No. 82 -85 further authorized
the creation of a special fund known as the Whatcom County Limited
Tax Bond Fund, 1982 which shall be drawn upon only for the purpose
of paying the principal of and interest on the bonds; and
WHEREAS, the initial interest payment is due on December 1,
1983 and said funds need to be provided from the Northwest
Washington Fair Fund and the Real Estate Excise Tax Capital Im-
provement Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that $29,872.60 be transferred
from the Northwest Washington Fair Fund and $99,574.90 from the
Real Estate Excise Tax Capital Improvement Fund to the Whatcom
County Limited Tax Bond Fund, 1982 to provide for the initial
debt service payment due December 1, 1983, as more particularly
set forth in the following budget:
