AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 83 -55
AMENDING WHATCOM COUNTY CODE SECTION 1.08.060
PROVIDING FOR PROCEDURES AS TO THE FORM OF
PETITIONS FOR INITIATIVES AND REFERENDUMS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Whatcom County Council
hereby amends Ordinance No. 83 -55, amending Whatcom County Code
Section 1.08.060, providing for procedures as to the form of
petitions for intiatives and referendums, as follows:
1.080.060 Form of petition - Assignment of number
B. The persons proposing the measure may prepare blank
petitions and cause them to be printed upon single
sheets of paper of good writing quality (including,
but not limited to newsprint) not less than 8 1/2
inches nor more than 11 inches in width and not '
less than 11 inches nor more than 14 inches in
length with a margin of one inch at the top for
binding and a margin of 5/8 inches on the left
side for office use only.
