ORDINANCE NO. 83 -84
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A REVISED BUDGET
TO THE 1983 FEDERAL SHARED REVENUE FUND
WHEREAS, Whatcom County has entered into an agreement to
purchase certain property adjacent to the Courthouse, and terms
of said agreement allow removal of the building upon payment of
half of the purchase price, which would increase parking area
for the Courthouse, and
WHEREAS, funds in excess of the State Jail Commission Grant are
needed. in the construction and furnishing of the new County
Jail facility, and
WHEREAS, there are unexpended 1982 dollars of Federal Shared
Revenue allowing for these expenditures and it is the desire of
the County Executive to budget said dollars for the above
stated purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the following revised budget is
hereby approved for the 1983 Federal Revenue Sharing Fund:
0199 -0034 Federal Shared Revenue Fund
501 Ending Fund Balance ($111,647.00)
546 -35 -61 Land Acquisition
523 -50 -62 Buildings
$ 64,000.00
$ 47,647.00
$111,647.00
