HomeMy WebLinkAboutord1983-0821 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 DATE August 18, 1983 INTRODUCED BY Roehl !� PROPOSED BY Engineering 4/ �• ORDINANCE NO. 83 -82 AN ORDINANCE REGARDING THE MATTER OF REMOVING THE STOP SIGN CONTROL AT THE RAILROAD CROSSING OF COUNTRY LANE WHEREAS, in compliance with RCW 46.61.200, it is found necessary and expedient to remove traffic control signs on certain County roads, and WHEREAS, the Railroad crossing of Country Lane, near Curtis Road, has had railroad control lights installed for traffic control, and WHEREAS, stop signs are no longer needed at this location. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that that section of Resolution E -70 -51 referring to stop signs on Country Lane intersecting with the Railroad, Sections 9 and 16, Township 38 North, Range 2 East, W.M., be, and is hereby repealed. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer be and is hereby directed to remove the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the Washington State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
