ORDINANCE NO. 83 -80
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A 1983 BUDGET
FOR THE WHATCOM COUNTY LIMITED TAX
BOND FUND, 1983. (SEWER CONSTRUCTION)
WHEREAS, Whatcom County Ordinance 83 -7 authorized the
acquisition, construction and installation of sewerage facilities
in the vicinity of the Nor -Bell Nursing Home, provided for the
issuance and sale of limited tax levy general obligation bonds
of the County to finance that project and authorized the creation
of a special fund to be known as the 1983 Sewer Construction Fund
to receive the proceeds of the bond sale; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance.83- 7.further authorized the creation
of a second special fund known as the Whatcom County Limited Tax
Bond Fund, 1983 for the purpose of paying the principal and
interest on said bonds; and,
WHEREAS, the initial interest payment is due on
September 1, 1983 and funds need to be transferred from the
Sewer Construction to the Limited Tax Bond Fund in order to provide
for this payment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that funds be transferr
from the 1983 Sewer Construction Fund to the Whatcom County
Limited Tax Bond Fund, 1983 to provide for the initial interest
payment due September 1, 1983, as more particularly set forth
in the following budget:
