ORDINANCE NO. 83 -76
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST BELL REVOLVING ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, billing for Pacific Northwest Bell Telephone Company
must be processed through a lengthy procedure combined with the
City of Bellingham and all individual departments of County
Government, and said procedure makes timely payments of the
billing an impossible task, and
WHEREAS, the County Auditor has requested that a revolving
account be established to cover payment of invoices during the
processing time, and
WHEREAS, there exists in the Current Expense Cash Balance
sufficient money to allow for the establishment of this
account;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED there is established a fund to
be known as the --
Pacific Northwest Bell Revolving Account
0803 -0001
389 -00 Non - Revenue
589 -00 Expenditure
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, funds shall be deposited to this
revolving account in full reimbursement of invoiced amounts by
all departments served under this Pacific Northwest Bell
billing procedure;
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, the County Treasurer shall issue a
check for Nine - Thousand Dollars ($9,000.00) from 301 Current
Expense Cash Balance payable to the Pacific Northwest Bell
Revolving Account to establish it.
