AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO MODIFY THE STOP SIGN CONTROL � /r,
AT THE INTER.SECl'ION OF CILkNDVIE14 ROAD AND POINT WHITEHORN ROAD
WHEREAS, in compliance with R.C.1-1. 46.61.200, it is found necessary and
expedient to place traffic control signs on certain county roads; and
',WHEREAS, an engineering investigation was made and it was determined
that a modification in stop sign control is warranted.•
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the intersection of Grandview Road
and Point Whitehorn Road, Sections 1, 2, 11 and 12, Township 39 North, Range 1
West, W.M., be chanced from a two -way stop intersection to a four -way stop inter-
section. The existing stop sign stopping westbound traffic on Grandview Road
at Point Whitehorn Road and the existing; stop sign stopping eastbound traffic on
Grandview Road at Point Whitehorn Road shall both remain. Stop signs shall be
installed in each of the following locations:
On Point Whitehorn Road at Grandview Road, stopping northbound traffic,
and
On Point Whitehorn Road at Grandview Road, Stopping southeast bound
traffic.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINID that the Whatcom County Engineer be and is here
directed to post the appropriate signs, and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and
the Washington State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
