ORDINANCE NO. 83-58
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A REVISED BUDGET
TO THE 1983 MENTAL HEALTH FUND
WHEREAS, audits of the Whatcom County Mental Health Fund have
been conducted by the State of Washington and it is found that
during certain biannual periods from 1979 thru 1981 there are
unexpended funds which were allocated to the Whatcom County
Mental Health Fund, and that during certain other biannual
periods between 1979 and 1981 there are dollars owing back to
the State, and
WHEREAS, it has been agreed upon by the State Auditors, the
Department of Social and Health Services, and Whatcom County
Mental Health Department that these outstanding figures to the
State and County shall be combined, and that the outstanding
balance being in favor of the County shall be allocated for
expenditure, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Director of Mental Health that
these dollars be budgeted in order to, allow for 1983
expenditures;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the following revised budget is
hereby approved for the 1983 Mental Health Fund:

334- 64 -00 -15 Intergovernmental Payment
Previous Years Balances Due 18,000.00
