ORDINANCE NO. 83 -54
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A REVISED BUDGET
-` TO THE 1983 FEDERAL SHARED REVENUE FUND
TO PAY A PORTION OF
THE CIVIC CENTER PARKING STUDY
WHEREAS, Whatcom County has entered into an agreement with the
City of Bellingham to obtain the professional services of
Zervas /Taysi Associates for the purpose of developing a parking
plan for the Civic Center area of Bellingham, Washington, and
WHEREAS, Whatcom County will directly benefit from a parking
study that provides a means of additional parking and relieves
traffic congestion in the immediate area of the County
Courthouse and Law and Justice Facility, and
WHEREAS, there is unbudgeted money in the Federal Shared
Revenue Fund to allow for a revised budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the Federal Shared Revenue Fund
is hereby revised as follows:
0199 -0034 Federal Shared Revenue Fund
301 Ending Unencumbered Fund Balance ($1,500.)
546 -25 Parking Facilities
546 -25 -31 Professional Services $1,500.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that Whatcom County's share of the
funding of this study shall be contingent upon a total division
of professional contractual costs as follows:
CITY OF BELLINGHAM $1,500.00
BELLINGHAM LIBRARY $1,000.00
WHATCOM COUNTY .$1,500.00
