ORDINANCE NO. 83 -50
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A REVISED BUDGET
FOR THE 1983 FEDERAL SHARED REVENUE FUND
WHEREAS, The Economic Development Strategy Subcommittee of
Bellingham, Washington, has contracted with SRI International
for Management Assistance in the planning and implementation of
an Economic Development Strategy for Whatcom County, and
WHEREAS, Whatcom County is a member of the Subcommittee
performing this function deemed necessary to the improvement in
economy of our communities, and as a member the County shall be
responsible for its share of the funding of this project, and
WHEREAS, there are unbudgeted dollars in the 1983 Federal
Shared Revenue Fund that are available for revised budgeting;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the following Revised Budget is
hereby approved for the 1983 Federal Shared Revenue Fund, pro-
vided that additional funding shall be provided by the
following:
Port of Bellingham -- $30,000.00
City of Bellingham -- $ 5,000.00
Private Industry -- $10,000.00
REVENUE: 0199 -003+ Federal Shared Revenue Fund
301 Ending Unencumbered Fund Balance ($5,000.00)
EXPENDITURE: 0199 -0034 Federal Shared Revenue Fund
557 -20 -31 Economic Development $5,000.00
