ORDINANCE NO. 83 -36
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 82 -30
FOR THE PURPOSE OF INCLUDING NEW PRECINCT
BOUNDARIES FOR WARDS IN THE CITY OF BLAINE
WHEREAS, the City Council of Blaine has enacted OrdinancE
No. 1683 for the purpose of adjusting the boundaries of the wards
within that City; and,
WHEREAS, the County Council has previously established
and described electoral boundaries within Whatcom County through
enactment of Ordinance No. 82 -30; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend Ordinance No. 82 -30
to reflect the aforesaid adjustment to the boundaries of the wards
in the City of Blaine;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE WHATCOM COUNTY
COUNCIL that the descriptions of the boundaries of the wards of the
City of Blaine contained in Ordinance No. 82 -30, be and hereby are
amended in accordance with City of Blaine Ordinance No. 1683, which
is described .:ins Exhibit "A", attached hereto.

EXHIBIT "A"
FIRST WARD
The First Ward of the City of Blaine shall include all
of the territory now within the City limits of the City of
Blaine lying and being situated North of the center of "E"
Street, in said City of Blaine, being the centerline of
said street, running East and West and all of the territory
North of said centerline of said "E" Street if the same
were extended and prolonged from the East end of said street,
to the Western boundary line of corporate limits of the
City of Blaine and all of the territory North of the center-
line of said street if the same were extended and prolonged
from the West line thereof to its intersection with the
Eastern boundary line of the present corporate limits of
the City of Blaine.
SECOND WARD
The Second Ward of the City of Blaine shall include
all of the territory now within the City Limits of the
City of Blaine bounded on the North by the South line of
Ward No. One (1) as herein described, in the East by the
Eastern limits of the present City of Blaine and on the
South by the centerline of Boblett Street in said City of
Blaine, where the same is now established and by the
centerline of said street if the same was extended and
prolonged to the Western boundary line of the present
limits of the City of Blaine, and if the same was extended
and prolonged to the Eastern boundary line of the present
limits of the City of Blaine.
THIRD WARD
The Third Ward of the City of Blaine shall include
all of the territory now within the corporate limits of
the City of Blaine lying and being situated South of the
South boundary line of Ward No. Two (2), as herein
described.
