AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING.
A'REVISED BUDGET
TO THR FEDERAL SHARED REVENUE FUND
JUVENILE PORTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Juvenile Detention Facility is in
need of immediate repairs an.d maintenance to insure the health
and safety of the residents, and
WHEREAS, there is the possibility of receiving Felderal Justice
Department financial assistance in the funding of a new
facility provided certain architectural planning, cost
analysis, and standards are met, and
WHEREAS, there are unb.udgeted monies within the Federal Shared
Revenue Fund to allow for a revised budget to accomplish the
repairs and professional services necessary at this time;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the following revised budget is
hereby approved for the 1.983'Federal Shared Revenue Fund in the
total amount of $24,000.:
0199. -0034 FEDERAL SHARED REVENUE
301 Ending Fund Balance ($24,000.)
527-10 -31 Professional'Services $5,000.
527 -10 -38 Repair & Maintenance $19,000.
$24,000.
