ORDINANCE N0. 83 -23
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A REVISED BUDGET
FOR THE DISTRICT COURT BUDGET
WITHIN THE CURRENT EXPENSE FUND
WHEREAS, Whatcom County has entered into an agreement with the
City of Bellingham, pursuant to R.C.W. 39.34, the Interloeal
Cooperation Act, to provide probation services through the
Whatcom County Adult Probation Department -to the City of
Bellingham, and
WHEREAS, in consideration for the professional probation
services provided, the City of Bellingham has agreed to
reimburse Whatcom County the sum of Fourteen - thousand Dollars
($14,000.00) payable in four' (4) equal payments to the County
Treasurer- on or before the 17th day of February,. May,' August,
and November,-1983, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise the District Court Budget
and Current Expense Revenue to encompass the revenue and
expenditures associated with this.Probation Contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the following Revised Budget is
hereby approved for the Current Expense Fund District Court
Budget:
REVENUE:. Current Expense Fund 0000 -0000
338- 12 -40 -01 Cities /District Court $14,000.00
EXPENDITURE: District Court Budget 0000 -0013
512- 40 -11 -19 Probation Counselor $14,000.00
