ORDINANCE NO. 83 -11
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 82 -64
IN THE MATTER OF REVISING THE
ALCOHOLISM REVOLVING FUND
WHEREAS, the ordinance authorizing a revision to the Alcoholism
Revolving Fund Was passed on September 16, 1982, and
WHEREAS, said ordinance contained certain provisions setting
f6-rth the purpose of expenditures from this fund, and
WHEREAS, .fit is the desire of the Alcoholism Board to revise the
purpose of this fund;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that Ordinance No. 82 -64 be
amended by adding the following:
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED this fund shall be for the purpose of
making advance purchase of bus and /or train fares for indigent
individuals referred to treatment.facilities outside of Whatcom
County and the purchase of miscellaneous items needed in the
transaction of business in the Alcoholism fund.
