ORDINANCE NO. 84 -119
AN ORDINANCE RINSING
THE 1984 CURRENT EXPENSE FUND
DISTRICT COURT BUDGET THEREIN
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County District Court anticipates having. to incur
expenditures that exceed current appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the increased expenditure needs result from more jury trials than
originally anticipated and a newly - implemented accounts receivable program;
and
WHEREAS, Whatcom County has incurred costs eligible for state funding for DWI
impacts; and
WHEREAS, the State Office of Financial Management has awarded Whatcom County
$65,795.00 to be used by June 30, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney's portion for 1984 has, been appropriated;
and
WHEREAS, the District Court proposed relocation to be reimbursed under this
grant has been cancelled; and
WHEREAS, the District Court Judges Pro -Tem amount for alleviating DWI - related
backlogs is still required for 1984;
NOW THEREFORE LET IT BE ORDAINED that the 1984 Current Expense Fund District
Court Budget therein is revised as follows:
