ORDINANCE NO. 84 -113
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A REVISED 1984 BUDGET FOR
THE WHATCOM COUNTY BUILDING MAINTENANCE FUND.
WHEREAS, the Building Maintenance Fund 1984 budget was adopted by
Whatcom County Ordinance 83 -61 on the basis of a certain set of operating condi-
tions affecting provision of custodial /maintenance services; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the Building Maintenance Fund
1984 budget, significant changes in those operating conditions have occurred
including County policy with respect to custodial staffing and the occupancy
date of the Whatcom County Public Safety Building for which the Building
Maintenance Fund has maintenance responsibility; and
WHEREAS, the Building Maintenance Fund 1984 budget contains insuf-
ficient appropriation authority to meet the expenditure requirements brought
about by this change in operating conditions; and
WHEREAS, additional Building Maintenance Fund revenues are anticipated
above the revenues estimated in the Building Maintenance Fund 1984 budget as
adopted, which will partially offset the increased expenditure requirements; and
WHEREAS, there are unappropriated funds available within the Current
Expense Fund to supplement the additional expenditure requirements of the
Building Maintenance Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Building Maintenance Fund 1984
budget be revised as follows:
