ORDINANCE NO. 84 -110
AN ORDINANCE REVISING
THE 1984 CURRENT EXPENSE FUND
NON - DEPARTMENTAL BUDGET THEREIN
WHEREAS, Whatcom County's fire districts provide first response on Medic I aid
calls; and
WHEREAS, the fire districts previously received free dispatch service in
return for this first response; and
WHEREAS, with implementation of the "911" dispatch system', the districts are
now being charged for fire dispatch service; and
WHEREAS, the fire districts do not receive reimbursement from Medic I for
first response, and
WHEREAS, the County's residents benefit from the first response given by the
fire districts for 19814;
NOW THEREFORE LET IT BF ORDAINED that the following appropriation is added to
the 19814 Current Expense Fund, Non - Departmental Budget:
