ORDINANCE NO. 84 -107
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET FOR THE
1984 CURRENT EXPENSE FUND PUBLIC WORKS ADMINISTRATION
BUDGET FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL
EXTRA HELP, OVERTIME AND COMMUNICATIONS COSTS.
WHEREAS, the Public Works Administration staff is responsible for pro-
viding administrative and accounting support services for all Public Works
Department activities; and
WHEREAS, the timely execution of these duties has necessitated addi-
tional staff costs in the form of extra help and overtime hours, and additional
communications costs; and
WHEREAS, part of these additional costs have been absorbed by enacting
line item budget transfers from those Public Works Administration 1984 budget
line items that will not be fully expended in 1984; and
WHEREAS, the excess of the additional costs that cannot be accommodated
by transfers within the Public Works Administration 1984 budget may be funded by
increased interfund contributions from the Public Works Department budgets for
which the services are provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Current Expense Fund Public
Works Administration 1984 Budget be amended as follows:
