ORDINANCE NO. 84 -75
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING
A REVOLVING FUND FOR
THE WHATCOM COUNTY PUBLIC
DEFENDER'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Public Defender's Office is now
incurring significant prepayment costs relating to expert
witness travel, library books, extraordinary mailings and for
miscellaneous supplies; and
WHEREAS, it has been requested by the Public Defender's Office
that a revolving fund be established to cover such
expenditures; and
WHEREAS, sufficient monies do exist in the Current Expense Fund
Cash Balance to allow the establishment of this fund;
NOW THEREFORE, LET IT BE ORDAINED the Public Defender's
!Revolving Fund is hereby established in the amount of
4-1"000 00%
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, the custodians of the fund shall be the
Public Defender and his /her designee. That all expenditures made
from this fund shall be reimbursed from Public Defender's Office
Current Expense TBudget .
