ORDINANCE NO. 84 -44
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A REVISED BUDGET
FOR THE 1984 CURRENT EXPENSE FUND
COUNTY COUNCIL BUDGET THEREIN
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council has determined a need for a
civil counsel, and
WHEREAS, the 1984 Council budget includes $ 25,000 for the
same,and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Prosecuting Attorney's
office will provide a full time deputy to discharge that
responsibility;
NOW,. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the $ 25,000 line item be
deleted from the Council budget and placed in the Current
Expense Fund as follows:
DECREASE
001 - 000 -033 County Council Budget
00110 - 511- 60 -31 -02 Professional Services Atty ($25,000.)
INCREASE
501 Current Expense Fund Balance $25,000.
