ORDINANCE NO. 84-19
AN ORDINANCE REGARDING THE MATTER OF ESTABLISHING THE SPEED
LIMIT ON HARVEY ROAD
WHEREAS, the Whatcam County Council is authorized under RCW 46.61.415
to establish speed limits on certain County roads; and
WHEREAS, an Engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's
office, and
WHEREAS, a review was conducted by the County Sheriff's office.
NOW, THEREFURE, BE IT ORDAINED that the speed limit on of 40 MPH be
established on Harvey Road, between Sweet Road and "H" Street Road,
Sections 4 and 5, Township 40 North, Range 1 East, W.M.
BE IT FURTHER 0RLIAII4ED that the County Engineer be and is hereby
directed to post the appropriate sign, and that the Whatcom County Sheriff
and the Washington State Patrol be notified by a dopy of this ordinance.
Provisions of this ordinance are hereby added to the Whatcom County Cod®,
Section 10.04.060.
