ORDINANCE AID. 84-17
AN ORDINANCE REGARDING THE MATM OF ESTABLISHING THE SPEED
LIMIT ON ALA! ROAD
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council is authorized under RLW 46.61.415
to establish speed limits on certain County road s1 and
WHEREAS, an Engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's
office, and
, a review was conducted by the County Sheriff's office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the speed limit on Alm Road be
established at 35 MPH between Telegraph Road and Gillies Road, Section 21
and 22, Township 40 North, Range 4 East, W.M.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer be and is hereby
directed to poet the appropriate sign, and that the Whatoom County Sheriff
and the Washington State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
Provisions of this ordinance are hereby added to the Whatoam County Code,
Section 10.04.050.
