ORDINANM NO. 84 -16
AN ORDINANCE REX;ARDING THE MATTER OF ESTABLISHING PARKING OONTHM
ON AN UNNAMED ROADWAY WrMIN THE STE1UING CREST PLAT
hifiFRFAS, in compliance with RCW 46.61.570, it is found necessary and
expedient to place traffic control signs on certain County roads; and
WHEREAS, an Engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's
office, and
WHEREAS, this existing roadway is an extension of an emergency access
to Bakerview, Mobile Home Park, Division 2, and as such should remain open
to emergency vehicles.
NOW, THEREK)RE, BE IT ORDAINED that a No Parking Anytime zone be
established an the unnamed section of platted roadway within Sterling Crest
Plat, north and south between Sterling Drive/Leroy Place and Barnes Road,
all within Section 13, Township 38 North, Range 2 East, W.M.
BE IT FURiHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer be and is hereby
directed to post the appropriate sign, and that the Whatcom County Sheriff
and the Washington State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinancce.
Provisions of this ordinance are hereby added to the Whatoom County Code,
Section 10.24.
