AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 83 -99
(AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE LEVY OF
TAXES FOR COUNTY AND STATE PURPOSES
IN WHATCOM COUNTY, WASHINGTON, FOR
THE YEAR OF 1984 PURSUANT TO HOME
RULE SECTION 6,.10) FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CLARIFYING THE PROVISION ESTABLISHING THE
AMOUNT OF THE REAL ESTATE EXCISE TAX
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED:
That the provision of Ordinance No. 83 -99 establishing
the amount of the real estate excise tax (set forth on page two
of said ordinance, lines 7 - 8) is hereby amended as follows:
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the rate of levy
of excise tax upon sales of real estate is determined
as ene- anel- th�tp- t6+e- ene- l�ttr�elred9- pereent -� :6�3�b}
e- tl�e- 9e��ng- p� #ee. .0107 for the state portion
and .0025 for the county portion for a total to be
collected of .0132.
