TO REVISE TEE 1985 VErERM
8 RELnW FUND BUD=
9 WHEREAS, the 1985 appropriation to provide assistance to needy veterans is
expended, thereby creating an emergency situation for qualified veterans
10 and /or their spouses who are in need of assistance; and,
11 WHEREAS, an additional appropriation is necessary if any further grants are to
be made in 1985; and,
12 WHEREAS, there is sufficient fund balance to cover a supplemental
13 appropriation;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, the 1985 Veterans Relief Fund Budget is
revised as follows:
15 1985 VETERANS RELIEF FUND
16 RESOURCES:
17 11400.501.00 Ending Fund Balance $ 1,000.00
18 APPROPRIATION ENHANCEMENT:
19 11402.553.60.49 Miscellaneous $ 1,000.00
20 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that an emergency does exist and this Ordinance shall
21 become effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Executive; and
further the Whatcom County Council finds that the Ordinance is necessary for
22 the immediate preservation of public peace, health, safety and /or support.'of
the County government.
