ORDINANCE NO. 85 -89
AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH
THE TELEPHONE REVOLVING
FUND
WHEREAS, Ordinance 79 -33 as amended, established the Central Stores Revolving
Fund - State Controlled Area Network (SCAN); and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance 83 -76 established the Pacific Northwest Bell Revolving
Account; and, '
WHEREAS, the authorized fund balance of the two revolving funds is currently
$13,000; and,
WHEREAS, these fund balances are inadequate to pay current monthly bills; and,
WHEREAS, the County would benefit by combining these two revolving funds into
a single revolving fund to clear all telephone related billings:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, there is established a, revolving fund known
as the Telephone Revolving Fund from which and into which all telephone
related billings and payments may be made.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, the County Treasurer shall issue a check in the
amount of $24,000 to the newly established revolving fund.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, Ordinance 79 -33 -as amended and Ordinance 83 -76 are
hereby repealed and the fund balances shall revert to the Current Expense
Fund.
