BUDGET THEREIN WHEREAS, the 1985 Jail budget provided for a $30,000 appropriation for overtime; and, WHEREAS, $10,000 was approved in supplemental appropriation; and, WHEREAS, $34,168 has been expended in the first eight months of 1985; and, WHEREAS, emphasis patrols, transports and escorts and Washington State Corrections Standards Board rules, etc., require scheduling overtime: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, the following revision to the 1985 Current Expense Fund, Jail Budget therein, is hereby approved: 1985 CURRENT EXPENSE FUND JAIL BUDGET RESOURCES: 00120 -501 Ending Fund Balance $15,000.00 APPROPRIATION ENHANCEMENT: 00180- 523 -60 -12 Overtime $15,000.00 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Whatcom County Council finds that this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and /or suppport of County government. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval by the County Executive. APPSOM...this 19th day or September, 1985.
