ORDINANCE NO. 85-62
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A WEIGHT RESTRICTION ON
BLAINE ROAD BRIDGE NO. 83
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council is authorized under R.C.W. 46.44.080 to
impose weight restrictions on certain County roads; and
WHEREAS, structural inadequacies of Blaine Road Bridge No. 83 necessitate
the imposition of weight restrictions, as determined by the Whatcom County
Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that weight restriction be set at
a maximum 15 tons gross vehicle weight on Blaine Road Bridge No. 83, Section 7,
Township 40 North, Range 1 East, W.M.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer be and hereby directed to
post the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the
Washington State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
