ORDINANCE NO. 85- 61
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 84 -94, AN
ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3.04 OF THE WHATCOM
COUNTY CODE TO AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE
TO DELEGATE SIGNATURE AUTHORITY
BE IT ORDAINED that Section 3.04.010 of the Whatcom County
Code is hereby amended as follows:
3.04.010 Transfers and /or revisions within
departments -- Approval for items over five
thousand dollars: Transfers and /or revisions
between categories within a county departmental
budget, which do not change the total of the
department's budgeted expenditures, may be
authorized in writing by the county executive;
provided, that the executive may delegate such
authority in accordance with the Whatcom County
Home Rule Charter Section 3.22(h). Provided,
further, that county council approval shall be
required for items over five thousand dollars.-
