ORDINANCE AMENDING WHATCOM COUNTY CODE
SECTION 9.32 BY CREATING A NEW SECTION
PROHIBITING THE DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS IN
DIVISIONS 1 AND 2 OF BOYNTON SUNSET TRACTS.
WHEREAS, the area of Division 1 and 2 of Boynton Sunset Tracts
is a residential area within the unincorporated area of Whatcom
County; and
WHEREAS, the discharge of firearms within a residential area
is detrimental to the public's health, safety and welfare; and.
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council has been approached to
disallow the discharge of firearms within this area, and the
Council feels that the discharge of firearms should be eliminated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that Whatcom County Code
Section 9.32 shall be amended by adding a new section which shall
read as follows:
9.32.190 Boynton Sur set Tracts

1 and 2 of Boynton Sunset Trac_ to as recorded _jn Book 8
of Plats on Pages _I and 73.
