ORDINANCE NO. 85 -45
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A REVISED 1985 BUDGET FOR
THE NOR -BELL NURSING HOME FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF
RECEIVING AND DISBURSING A-STATE DEPARTMENT OF
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GRANT FOR COSTS OF SEWER
FACILITIES FOR THE NOR -BELL NURSING HOME.
WHEREAS, the State Department of Community Development has previously
awarded grant funds in the amount of $87,350 to the Nor -Bell Nursing Home for
approximately half of that entity's portion of sewer construction costs; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Community Development now has an additional
$77,650 in grant funds available to Whatcom County, which represents the balance
of sewer project construction costs allocated to the Nor -Bell Nursing Home; and
WHEREAS, provision for the receipt of the grant funds from the State
and their subsequent distribution to the Sewer Construction Fund was not
included in the 1985 Whatcom County budget as adopted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Nor -Bell Nursing Home 1985'
budget be amended as follows:
