AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A REVISED 1985
BUDGET FOR THE JAIL CONSTRUCTION FUND
WHEREAS, the Jail Construction Fund was created for the purpose of
receiving State grant funds from the Corrections Standards Board, and to dis-
burse said funds for expenses of the Whatcom County Public Safety Building
construction project; and
WHEREAS, a delayed grant payment of $103,585 has been received by
Whatcom County, and the budgeted revenue and expenditure appropriations for
these grant funds expired as of December 31, 1984; and
WHEREAS, Whatcom County intends to expend the grant dollars received
for jail project expenses, including architectural fees and creation of parking
facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Jail Construction Fund 1985
budget be amended as follows:
